Celebrate Bike Month in May!
WHat is Bike month?
National Bike Month is celebrated during the month of May as an opportunity to showcase the advantages that come from bicycling-- both physically and mentally. Celebrating Bike Month is a unique opportunity for communities to come together in educating and encouraging their residents to ride. The League of American Bicyclists officially declared "May is Bike Month" in 1956.
The Nashville Connector celebrates Bike Month in May to celebrate biking as a mode of transportation, as recreation, and as an essential to our well-being everyday lives. The Nashville Connector is encouraging Nashville & Davidson county to find ways to celebrate biking every day in May!

Tour De Nash - Saturday, May 16

Join Walk Bike Nashville, the Nashville Connector, Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure, and a myriad of other sponsors and community partners on Saturday, May 16 for the 22nd Annual Tour De Nash, presented by LDA Engineering.
Take a 5 mile City Tour, 25 mile Local Tour or 45 mile Grand Tour!
Tour de Nash is a ride, not a race, providing a casual and fun opportunity to explore the city’s bikeways, neighborhoods, and greenways with a whole community of friendly bicycle riders. The non-competitive spirit of this event is conducive to a “party-pace”--a leisurely pace that promotes conversation with fellow riders and encourages stops at destinations and rest stops along the way.
